How does the spine affect your brain?
An injury of the spine causes the joints to move abnormally and when the vertebrae aren't moving normally they don't line up with each other at rest. Those small misalignments would be bad enough if all they did to you was to cause pain, but even more damaging is that misalignments change the way that your brain functions!
1) Your brain relies on unrestricted joint movement to receive normal sensory information.
2) Without normal movement-information coming from the spinal joints, your brain suffers sensory deprivation.
3) Therefore, minor injuries of the spine cause malfunction of your brain.
